Dr. Kravitz has been involved in multi-disciplined medical clinics and explored new paradigms for health care delivery for several decades.

During the 1970’s he traveled extensively from the Bedouin Field Clinics of the Sinai to India to the clinics at Yale University School of Medicine experiencing health care in a variety of countries and cultures.

From 1984 to 1986 he was a part-time Medical Director for the Department of Corrections in New Mexico. He helped create an “in house” hospital facility and a health care system.

In 1985 he founded Preventive Pathways, an integrative health care clinic with community outreach programs. This was carried out by a panel of preventive health care practitioners who offered clients and the community a unique opportunity for healing themselves and therefore the community at large. Through their group effort lectures and individual consultations were made available based on a multi-disciplined approach.

From 1999 to 2000 he was a member of the Santa Fe Health Care Team of JourneyWell Center for Integrative Health. Their multifaceted organization included a “longevity center” emphasizing self-responsibility, knowledge and empowerment through an integrative team approach. Dr. Kravitz helped create their “New Edge” Health Model and an assessment program for their prototype clinic in Santa Fe.

In 2000 he  was a founding partner of Mindful Medicine and the Santa Fe Health Alliance. These were organizations that provided a team-based healing experience resulting in a comprehensive individualized “blueprint for your health.”

From 1983 to the present Dr. Kravitz has conducted a Private Practice in Internal and Preventive Medicine in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His Approach to the patient is comprehensive, holistic and sympathetic, integrating many different disciplines in order to aid in the healing process.
